Tour Formulas

Because our guests have different views of how to enjoy themselves when they are exploring, we have created two different formulas for our JOURNEYS. Each offers you different levels of accommodations, one authentic and representative, the other for those who need luxury guaranteed.

Terroirs

For an authentic experience of the regions we visit, our TERROIRS JOURNEYS provide our guests with accommodations that show off the flavour of the regional to its very best. We have chosen the three-star accommodations with that thought in mind. We have also added an occasional four-star accommodation added to mix it up. The idea is for our guests to really be able to sample regional terroirs and local hospitality!

The hotels, auberges and manoirs are selected for their location, comfort and service as well as the authenticity of their gastronomy. We select the venues and tastings for their faithfully representation of the products, natural wonders and attractions of the area and their ability to give our guests a genuine experience in each region.

Domaines

For some people, travelling is all about luxury. For those who need that level of accomodation guaranteed, we have created DOMAINES JOURNEYS. Here we have limited the selection to primarily four-star accommodations, which in some regions will change the composition of the tour. We will occasionally add a three-star because of the property’s exceptional chef, location or décor. Chateau, manoir or hotel, all fit the definition of haut confort both in accommodation and gastronomy and for their recognized top level of service.

As with the formula for TERROIRS JOURNEYS, venues and tastings are selected for their ability to faithfully represent the products or special attraction of the region and give our guests a genuine experience of the particular region. For this formula, we will add special events, speakers and/or activities.
